Community Support
PCL has provided foundational support to United Way of the Alberta Capital Region for over 50 years, resulting in a lifetime achievement of $30 million being invested locally to change the lives of people struggling in poverty. Today, PCL’s significant support equates to helping 28,000 local people this year alone!
Engaging the next generation
PCL continues to engage new employees in their United Way campaign with 104 first time donors in 2019. Of those, 67% are of the Millennial and Gen Z generations.

For nearly two decades United Way has championed an exciting new initiative to create an information and referral phone line which allows callers to navigate the complex network of human services quickly and easily.
